dentures

When it comes to dentures, as with all things at The Ultimate Cosmetic Suite, we favour a holistic approach. In other words, we don't just consider your dentures in isolation, but take into account the shape of your face and mouth, and the colour and tone of your gums and lips. All of this ensures your dentures are perfectly suited to you.

It is a sad truth that most people who wear dentures are unhappy with the look and feel of their prosthesis. Their dentures are either too big, and feel very uncomfortable, or too small, and prone to 'flapping' at inopportune moments. Although this might seem like good material for a comedy sketch, it is a source of considerable misery for the sufferer. Unfortunately, most of these people are convinced that the problem lies with dentures generally, and not with the specific fit and design of the dentures they have been provided with.

The dentures we create for you at The Ultimate Cosmetic Suite are no laughing matter, but will give you every reason to smile.

The process begins with a full consultation and examination, ascertaining precisely the effect you are looking for and taking full account of any problems you may have suffered in the past as a result of wearing inferior dentures.

Once all of this information has been gathered and considered, we will begin the process of creating your dentures, ensuring they match the shade of your teeth and gums perfectly – no more bubblegum-pink palette and no more 'standout' teeth. We will also ensure the teeth look utterly natural, following and flowing with the unique contours of your mouth.

The end result will be comfortable, realistic and not only will it match your other features, it will also strive to enhance them.

How often should you change your dentures?

As a rule, if you've had your current dentures for five years or more, you should be considering new dentures, or, at the very least, letting an experienced dental technician take a look at your existing prosthesis.

If your dentures are prone to becoming mobile whilst you are eating or talking, if you have sore spots on your gums where your dentures rubs, or if you have taken to using denture pads for comfort and confidence, then it is definitely time to consider new dentures.
