Invisalign Teeth Alignment Treatment
Invisalign is the virtually-invisible, incredibly flexible solution to a whole host of dental and orthodontic issues, including overbite, underbite, crossbite, overly-crowded teeth and widely-spaced teeth.
A million miles away from the metal contraptions of yesteryear, the Invisalign teeth alignment system can give you that perfect Hollywood smile you've always dreamed, without the self-consciousness. In fact, as your orthodontic issues are steadily corrected, it is very likely that nobody will even realise you're undergoing treatment.
Unlike other orthodontic dental treatments, the Invisalign teeth alignment system uses a series of marginally different aligners which you wear for about two weeks before moving on to the next one in the series. Because each aligner will have been uniquely created according to a complex calculation pertaining to your particular orthodontic issues, your teeth will be gradually eased into perfect alignment over time.
Just Some of the Teeth Alignment Issues Invisalign 'Secretly' Corrects:

Overbite: Technically known as malocclusion, this is when the teeth at the front of the upper jaw 'overhang' the teeth at the front of the lower jaw. Aesthetics aside, overbite can lead to gum irritation, excessive wear and tear of the teeth, and inflammation and subsequent pain in the hinge of the jaw.

Underbite: Similar to overbite, but in this instance the teeth of the lower jaw close 'ahead of' the teeth of the upper jaw. There are a number of reasons for this, the most common being 'prognathism', where either the lower jaw is overdeveloped and protrudes beyond the upper jaw or the upper jaw is underdeveloped, with the same ultimate result. As with overbite, underbite can lead to gum irritation, excessive wear and tear and problems with the jaw hinge.

Crossbite: This when the teeth are generally misaligned and crooked and 'clash' with one another. In particular, the teeth of the upper jaw clash with the inside of the teeth of the lower jaw. This can result in damage to the teeth, gum problems and issues with the jaw.

Overly crowded teeth: This normally occurs when the jaw is unusually small and there simply isn't enough room for a full contingent of teeth. This results in excessive wear and tear, tooth decay and gum disease.

Widely spaced teeth: This can occur when the jaw is unusually large and, consequently, there is too much space for the teeth to grow causing them to develop in an undisciplined manner, or if teeth are missing creating additional, undesirable space. Gum disease is common in cases of patients with widely-spaced teeth.
The Invisalign teeth alignment system offers a flexible, practically-invisible solution to all of the above.
