At last, the Lipotrim Pharmacy Programme has come to Liverpool, courtesy of The Ultimate Cosmetic Suite.
Lipotrim is a pharmacy-based weight loss programme. It is controlled, regulated and monitored by our pharmacists and is not available by mail order or over the counter.
As fully-qualified healthcare professionals, our pharmacists are uniquely placed to help you with your weight loss ambitions, just as they have been traditionally involved in a number of programmes to help people give up smoking, control their cholesterol, reduce their blood pressure and live with such life-altering conditions as asthma and diabetes.
Our pharmacists are central to the Lipotrim programme. If you follow their instructions and attend the pharmacy as and when required, you could lose up to a stone (women) or a stone and a half (men) each month.
Is lipotrim a drug-related programme?
The simple answer is no. Lipotrim uses nutrient-complete formula total-food-replacement products. Developed in this country to strict British safety standards, these food-replacement products have been proven to be safe and effective, as they provide your body with all the nutrients it requires whilst simultaneously helping you lose weight.
The Lipotrim range of food replacement products includes scientifically-formulated drinks (vanilla, strawberry or chocolate), mousses (vanilla and chocolate), chicken soup and flapjacks.
Originally, this programme was entirely controlled by General Practitioners, however it was recognised that pharmacists also possessed the appropriate expertise and experience to provide the necessary support, guidance and supervision.
What does the lipotrim programme involve?
In order to be accepted onto the Lipotrim Pharmacy Programme and, more importantly, be allowed to stay on the programme, you will need to do the following:
- fill out a medical screening form at our pharmacy to ensure you are suited to this particular programme
- On a weekly basis you must attend our pharmacy to be weighed and take a urine test to measure ketones. The results of this ketones test will check to see if you are complying with the programme for safety reasons
- Anyone not attending will not receive their supply of food-replacement products and may be taken off the programme altogether
